Any interest in this Benoit?
I've tested it with autotools install on debian13, mint22(ubuntu24.04),
fedora42, Manjaro. all working okay :)

Willy has tested it as the postinst script for debian12 and 13 and
ubuntu24.04 (Mint22) and it's all working there too :)
