But .EnsureVisible does work in GTK3. It works correctly with GTK3 on the KDE Plasma desktop environment. It does not work 
correctly on the LXQt desktop environment (nor on the LXDE destop environment as you have stated). I think Gianluigi uses the 
Mate desktop environment -- please correct me if that is wrong, Gianlugi.

Perhaps it is a window manager issue. As I understand it, LXDE uses OpenBox for its window manager while LXQt uses one of three 
including OpenBox.
