I do, seems pretty clear to me.

I think what confirmed it was the issue with Desktop.Screenshot, where as
before it was possible to grab an image of any area/position on the screen.
Now with Wayland their view is a program should not be able to do this for
security reasons.
But in an open source world where all the code is accessible there should
not be these security reasons they speak of.
Only in a closed source world where code is kept secret are we going to get
those kind of problems.

Wayland is definitely a step towards a more commercialized linux.
There has to be many corporate types out there who see linux as a potential
goldmine and they all want to be as rich as Bill Gates.
