I fully agree with you ... and you don't have to dig deep to find out what's wrong. A good return to basics is essential. This bubble isn't just about AI, but also about all the hype surrounding cloud computing at all costs, which will end in a massive outage. Because it's a giant with feet of clay that relies on very few players. More and more companies are starting to move back toward hybrid autonomous systems with the cloud as backup (and even then...). So yes, two large bubbles are on the verge of bursting, with all the disastrous economic consequences that this will engender (a drop in US purchasing power, the rise of bricks and mortar companies that have a real-world industry).
