Today I tested the fix of Bug 3041 with an up-to-date master (23b61cb), 
which looked ok, but then I noticed that 80 % of the comprehensive GUI 
of the main application window is not displayed.

Is this a result of what was recently announced as "may brake the look" 
and "make you cry" in conjunction with the latest work on the 
GUI-design? Is this a bug or an unavoidable possible brake of existing GUIs?

As I wasn't sure about the meaning of the announcement I planned to 
freeze my development environment for one of my most important apps. 
After a fix of 4 bugs I hoped today that I can freeze it now but with 
this new problem my app became fully unusable with the master and 
remains buggy with stable versions.
