Why should not it be used for production?

Sorry, I don't really understand what you mean.

The future of this component is the same as the other I developed.

I'd like to make a real application with it, but I didn't had the time.

I'd like to use it in my job, but this would need a lot of rewrite of a 
big web app just based on 'gb.web', so people in charge won't be agree.
