HiA buddy of mine wanted to test Gambas on his Ubuntu 20.04 machine as Gambas-Newbee and installed it from the OpensSuse OBS. As he wasn't able to use the Farm (dialog closes when selecting something) I setup a Mint 20.3 VM (=Ubuntu 20.04) and got the same problem. It seems that the version is from times before the farm repository has been moved to another server.
This must be a bug: don't you have a message on the terminal output after the crash?
The support for Ubuntu 20.04/ Mint 20.3 is running out this month but was this a reason not to update Gambas any longer for that distro? I further noticed, that the date of the Stable version is always the same (9th March 2025). I further found that the Systeminformation in the Mint 20.3 VM states "3.20.2 972c02e (master)". On my Mint 22 PC the system information in identical ("3.20.2 972c02e (master)") but the Farm works well.
The last stable version is that one from March, 9th 2025. Why do you say there is no update anymore? OBS builds packages for all the distributions listed, there is no distribution that is less updated than the others.
