Hm, killing the webserver should be no problem if it is supervised by Systemd or Monit which restart it immediately as soon as it crashed.
Currently I think Monit is better because it sends a mail when it had to restart the server. Monit can also be (re)started by Systemd.
Another thing is that an important server should be monitored (not only by it's users).
