Nope, that was not right. I still have the same problem with "Git 
Magic". If I – for instance – add a new class the IDE puts it into the 
Git staging area. This is a behavior that I don't like. For that reason 
the Git version control utilities of the IDE are still unusable for me.

So I find that option to generally switch off the IDE's Git handling 
still very useful.
