There is one bright spot: before you released, I got Gambas from exactly 
that repository and it was still fine and i was able to install 
everything. Also did the user pkostrz at the german gambas-club forum. 
On thursday 9. Jan 2025, 07:42 it was fine.

The error only occurred yesterday. The user pkostrz reported it at Fr 
10. Jan 2025, 08:39.

So sth happened between that dates.
