That is the most important one.
Glad it is backward compatible with our old ppa versions

This test is a less important test then, if official doesn't work in the first place.

No need, if a in gambas-ide ppa version made package installs on an osb version gambas, we are good.

The difference between official ubuntu and 'gambas ubuntu ppa' was already there way before these osb builds.
IMHO Gambas sets the norm to how gambas should be packaged and official should watch, learn, replicate and maybe improve
