Steers: here you can see that Mint 22 (Wilma) is based on Ubuntu > 24.04(LTS): > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux_Mint > oops sorry , yep it even said 24.04 in my paste of the /etc/upstream-release/os-release info. :-\ silly me i meant 24.10 , i added 24.10 by accident and had similar errors as you then setting to 24.04 and it worked okay, that's the only reason i thought to mention it. Clearly i am no help here. (slinks away quietly) BruceS
