I think this is all very useful info from people with insight in their distro. This determines what distro versions are relevant to make packages for, so not to overdo it. Mainly it comes down to sticking to packaging gambas3 for those versions of distro that are still within their maintained lifecycle. A bit different for Arch, as it is a rolling release. We could opt to package gambas3-master for an upcoming stable release in the different specific distro's, to already be ready to have good recipes for future use, when they become a stable version. I guess this info also helps setting up a clever template folder structure as source for building said recipes with 'gambas-package-config' gbWilly
