Downloading new documentation

I just had to load the IDE with QT just to get the "download new
documentation" to work.

It may have been working in the background with gtk but i got no progress
bar or any indication a download had started with gtk3 , it just hung for a
few minutes so force-closed the IDE and tried again with qt.  then the
progress bar appeared as expected when hitting download.

oh,and i just noticed the download has already finished so maybe it's not
working in gtk3
