Yes It was the way that scripter implemented looking for libraries, is it possible to add this to the compiler.
WOuld this not eliminate the need for the dashed number. as it becomes possible for the app to identify which branch to use in a more general manor.

I don't understand the use of the valid until thing, strange how can a library be valid to a later version of itself?
