http://gambaswiki.org/bugtracker/edit?object=BUG.3229&from=L21haW4- Comment #2 by Benoît MINISINI: > Here is the info from the documents: > How version numbers are used > Version numbers may be defined and are used as part of the search criteria > may be specified in one of the following ways. > MyBiz is the vendor name for these examples. > :MyBiz/mylib: - This will use the highest located version of the library > :MyBiz/mylib:1 - This will use the highest located version of version 1 library found > :MyBiz/mylib:1.1 - This will use the highest located version of version 1.1 library found > :MyBiz/mylib:1.1.3- This will use only the explicitly request library or create and error > Note: Vendor name must be part of the path when specifying absolute paths. AFAIK I never implemented such a thing in the interpreter, unless for the 'LIBRARY' keyword, but it is for binary shared libraries, not for Gambas libraries. May it be a feature you implemented specifically in the scripter? Now the library file names includes two version numbers separated by a dash: - The first one is the actual version number. - The second one is the maximum version it is compatible with. The documentation on library seems to be inaccurate, but I didn't write it. ----[ Gambas bugtracker-list is hosted by https://www.hostsharing.net ]----
