To use TrayIcon I add gb.gui.trayicon as that makes class TrayIcon available.
In IDE all works just fine just by adding this.

When creating a package I assume and expect the packager to take care of the gambas dependencies.
It seems that when an application in IDE uses gb.gui.trayicon, gb.debug.trayicon needs to be added as a dependency when creating the package.
That should fix the issue.
