Can you try the latest development version and tell me if it fixes the problems?

Library names now include their maximum version, which is taken into account by the interpreter.

When loading a required library, the interpreter now search for the best matching libraries (i.e. having the highest version and being compatible with the required version).

If an installed library does not have a maximum version in its file name, the maximum version is supposed to be the same as the actual version, so that backward compatibility with the previous behaviour is ensured.
