Actually the problem is worse than I thought.

The 'gb.form.stock' has a requirement on loading/saving images routines, which are only implemented in the GUI components.

But 'gb.web.gui' wants to use 'gb.form.stock' for the icon files located inside. It does not ask him to load or save images.
