Seems this change works as intended as the gitlab pipeline for alpine then threw an error and did not fail to compile without being noticed.

Who knows how long alpine has not been compiling for?
ok, I just did a little searching for you..

05 Dec 2024 , alpine compiles ok
06 Dec 2024 , alpine starts to fail

looks like it's been broken since https://gitlab.com/gambas/gambas/-/commit/b44a1fbef1c00160062bc9120e36cb5f2e0c82e7

Nobody complained so i guess nobody is really using Alpine anyway
