The problem is not the compositor but the kde menu that survey the .local/.../application directory anb give the priority to this desktop file to fill the menu.

So when gambas ide run the gambas.desktop (virtual)replace the menu one.. and if the ide crash this file is not removed.

But the virtual one have no icon and no exec line.

So it make the shortcut deasapear. The only way to recover is to delete the file from the .local path.
