[Gambas-bugtracker] Bug #3107: Gambas3 is no longer basic.

http://gambaswiki.org/bugtracker/edit?object=BUG.3107&from=L21haW4-

Hasan MERKIT reported a new bug.

Summary
-------

Gambas3 is no longer basic.

Type : Request
Priority : Medium
Gambas version : Unknown
Product : Unknown

Description
-----------

Gambas3’s insistence on not adding GTK4 support, its failure to fix the maximize/minimize visibility issue in the Qt toolkit where there’s no form resize, the need to stay away from Gnome, and the use of a primitive system that only works via email made me think that Gambas3 has drifted away from being “basic” and has no future. On top of that, even the Debian repository packages still haven’t fixed the maximize/minimize issues for GTK. Suggesting adding a repo instead of updating the Debian repo is also absurd.

In the Linux world, everyone keeps changing things and then everyone blames each other. That’s why Linux fails in competition with Windows. Just like Wayland’s nonsense preventing form moving or Gnome’s “Don’t Theme My App” nonsense.

Unfortunately, I’m quitting Gambas3.
