This really looks likely to be an error in your code and probably not a bug in gambas.

If most of your calculations are in the _new() method then the form may not have initialized fully.
But it is impossible to just guess the issue without seeing your code.

can you create a smaller non confidential example that produces the same error by removing all the "confidential" code?

or perhaps you could send the full project to Benoit privately to his email address?

If you want help fixing your code them you really will have to show it.
Surely you have been reporting bugs for long enough to understand this Oliver?
Trying to guess the issue from your assumptions and multiple explanations is kinda time consuming and almost painful.
seeing an example project makes it easy to examine all the aspects.

Sorry Oliver I do not mean to be mean, there is just an easy way and a hard way of getting to the bottom of this issue for you.
