It was. I found a workaround in the IDE with https://gitlab.com/gambas/gambas/-/commit/174d483530c76137128f5b77d97e738e5f6269d3, but the bug itself is still there.

In GTK+3, if you have controls inside a container, they are not clipped by the container. I implemented a visual clipping, so that you see only the part inside the container, but the controls are still active and may recover other controls outside of the container, which is the behavior you noticed.
