I can confirm the problem and am attaching two images for illustration.
The whole thing is shown using the Scriptbuilder tool.
I took a screenshot of the desktop file once before and once after adding "Type=Application".
You can clearly see how the program is added to the Accessories menu and how the desktop file icon changes at the same tim
