I don't understand how you know that the mariadb actually crashes. What I see in the log is a shutdown, not a crash.

If it crashes, you must see it in the Linux system log. Can you show it? (journalctl -xe)

Moreover, can you add 'DB.Debug = True' to your client program, and log its error output, so that we can see all the SQL requests sent to the server until the crash?
