I have apps like desktop-clocks which couldn't be used on distros with the Openbox window manager, because the transparent background of the Gambas window (Form.Transparency = True) was displayed in black color. You mentioned such window managers in our bug-dialogue. To my surprise I just found out that that Openbox in Lubuntu 24.04 is now supporting Gambas transparent windows with the latest master. So we can forget about it.
