Comment #8 by Claus DIETRICH:

>I even think getting rid of TabStrip completly, i.e. replacing it by a TabPanel with a look that mimics it. I'm currently removing native controls as much as possible,
>because of the huge number of problems I encounter with GTK+.

In an earlier dialog I already expressed my preference towards the TapStrip. The TabPanel looks very different. I tried it and found that it doesn't fit into "corporate" GTK-GUI-designs - and particularly not into my GTK-app. We would further loose a classic control which has done a good job for many years. It should further be clear, that the present bug was not imposed/caused by GTK+.
So I hope that you don't give it up.

Best regards
Claus
