I think the two bugs are fixed by https://gitlab.com/gambas/gambas/-/commit/e241a099864ad217a9937d5fb6ae0432a91a117e on the master.

GTK+3, for any reason, or maybe the window manager - but we don't have the problem with Qt, decided to resize resizable windows to 1x1 when setting the 'Transparency' property.

Can you confirm? The fix will be backported in the next stable release.
