I think the "bug" here is that DegTableView inherits TableView and does not do its own selection method but setting selection when Mode = Select.None does not work on TableView but for some reason it does with DegTableView. 
If the outcome of selection was properly inherited and the same then this problem would have dealt with during cooding.
