I wrote a new algorithm in https://gitlab.com/gambas/gambas/-/commit/951bf53e4e1f179e9229777aea0bf8f7bcc14e37.

It should work far better than the old one, but you will tell me. At least for bash prompt and 'top', it seems to work better than the KDE konsole algotihm.
